• Savi has been translated from Sanskrit as “the form of the sun before it rises” and is known as one of the names of the sun God. “Savio” in Italian is an adjective that means wise or learned. Savi also happened to be the nickname of my beloved Golden Retriever, who truly exemplified the sun, great wisdom and teachings of Yoga.

Savi Yoga is born out of these two meanings of the root word “savi.” I believe that through the many practices of Yoga (not just the movement known as asana) we can excavate our hearts to discover our inner light— the true wisdom and deep love that resides within each of us.

Through this exploration and excavation, we can then begin to share that light throughout and beyond our communities.

Yoga is a process of consistently showing up in a specific way for ourselves, but not so that we can sit in isolation from our communities.

No— Yoga asks us to be curious and courageous, showing up for our communities in the darkest times with our inner light shining brightly. When we all honor the light within and without together, we can unite to create a brighter world.

I’m delighted to work with people of all ages and stages in life - from conception to old age. It’s never too early or too late to honor and remember the light within.

Check out what I have to offer, and if any questions arise I’m here to guide you to the answer.

    In gratitude and love,

    Chelsea
